Lewis sweater and a pencil bag

Hello

I created 2 things for my boys. One gets a sweater from La Maison Victor and the other a pencil bag from a book “Zo geknipt 2”.

First the Lewis sweater:
Eerst de Lewis hoody:
It is a lovely pattern with lots of possibilities. I took 2 0,5m tricot and turned into this lovely sweater for my 2-year-old.

Then I made a pencil bag for the 5-year-old. He has a lot of stuff that is only for him and not his little brother. Now he has a place to put it in and he has to take care of it. I found the pattern in Zo geknipt 2 and he loves the fabric so we are both happy.

As you can see I used a ribbon to close on the inside cos I made a little mistake there. But my son loves it so I am happy.

Greetings
SaSiBeau

  1. Really interested to see someone else sewing from La Maison Victor! I recently discovered the magazine here in Germany and absolutely love it! Nice to see that the patterns come out well! Good stuff!

    • Thank you. I have all the magazines here at home (Belgium) and I just love the pictures and the explanation in the magazines. Also the pattern fit is perfect for me. And in every book there are 2 or more paterns that I make. Sometimes I make one patern in 4 difrent ways. But on FB there is also a dutch group where everyone post there outfit in the maps with the names (https://www.facebook.com/groups/507876769347435/ )
And ofcorse you can always put your picture at the inspire me page of LMV. If you ever get stuck with a patern you can always mail me and then I will try to help you.

      • Thank you that is so kind of you!! I am definitely going to get a subscription to the magazine – it’s just so lovely and such good inspiration! I didn’t know about the Facebook group – I’m definitely going to have a look at that one! In the last German issue there was a pattern for some trousers that are a bit like the Hudson pant pattern … I think they might be my next project as I’m really in to sewing with jersey right now!
